Mr. Chandler is an accomplished medical device industry innovator and executive with 30+ years of experience from private-equity startups to public industry leaders. He’s focused in multiple orthopedic sub-specialties (OR; post-op) and endoscopy, and serving from sales rep to senior management. Mr. Chandler features a successful history- innovation, development, commercialization, operations, and exits of medical technology companies.

Currently Mr. Chandler is consulting in orthopedics, providing expertise from strategic planning to product development to distribution expansion to business development and fundraising, including an excellent Key Opinion Leader network.

As President & GM, Mr. Chandler spearheaded the commercialization of FastForm Medical. His successful launch of this revolutionary moldable splint/cast/brace technology into the clinical market led to a key strategic alliance with an industry leader. Mr. Chandler, Sr. VP Sales/Marketing for ReGen Biologics, commercialized the world’s 1st Meniscus Collagen Scaffold (partial defect repair) into the US market. He was recruited by Smith & Nephew Endoscopy (Area Sales Director- West 1/2 US) to accelerate stagnant sales resulting in well above industry growth. In a restructuring effort, Mr. Chandler was called upon by Bionx Medical (Sales VP) to kick-start a distressed program that successfully resulted in the Company’s sale. He has escalating responsibilities in global sales & marketing at Zimmer and Linvatec, plus founded a regional device/post-op distributorship.

A key entrepreneurial career highlight featured Mr. Chandler as Founder & CEO/President of a venture capital backed medical device firm (Aquarius Medical), led the Company for six years incepting two core technologies (fluid management pump; core body thermoregulation from Stanford University OTL), and through product inventions (IP), funding, research, development, regulatory, manufacturing, commercialization, and into a successful exit.

Specialties: While Mr. Chandler’s career has been weighted towards sports medicine and endoscopy, he has notable experience in reconstruction, trauma, and biologics. He offers vast experience in capital equipment, implants, disposables, and instrumentation. Mr. Chandler has an expansive network of global Key Opinion Leaders and marquis Institutions, recruiting many to Scientific Advisory Boards and as customers. He offers business expertise in sales, marketing, and gen’l mgmt.
